Salaam,
This is a disclaimer post for my notes. My notes will not be perfect and sometimes I’ll miss parts of the speech, hence some missing context. I’m still learning to take good notes. People also talk faster than I can write :(.
I’m going to label regular speeches as majlises as well so I can group those notes together.
My intention while writing these notes was not for clarity so others could understand, but so that I could retain the knowledge better and come back to it later. I wrote these notes for myself, but if you happen to come across this page, I hope it benefits you in some way or another Inshallah. Let me know if you have any thoughts/questions/suggestions.
If you’re not Shia/not Muslim, please give the content the benefit of the doubt. There’s so much more depth to what’s written than meets the eye. Go do your own research if there’s something you doubt - research and questions are encouraged in Islam. That’s how you learn more.
Also, the speakers are not perfect, so give them the benefit of the doubt as well if you find a gap in their knowledge. They’re speaking from their knowledge and from their heart.
Before you go and criticize speakers: they’ve studied for years and are only providing to us a fraction of their knowledge, since they don’t have enough time in these lectures to provide more context. Remember, there’s always more than what meets the eye (and ear). Have an open mind, don’t criticize people easily, and respect others (especially when they have more knowledge than you do).
Peace.
